Property Information
Management and Staff welcome all guests and wish them a safe, relaxing, friendly and happy stay whilst visiting or staying with us at Canberra Park. With this in mind the following applies to all guests and visitors.
Arrival / Check In
Check in is after 2pm (depending on availability). Check out time is 10am.
Compliance
Canberra Park is a fully compliant property and holds all applicable licences and certificates to allow us to operate. If you require a copy of our certificate of currency please click here.
Dining
The Homestead is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Times will vary depending on the requirements of our guest, but generally opening hours are 6am to 9am for breakfast, 12pm to 2pm for lunch and 5pm to 9pm for dinner. Other times can be arranged with management. Dress should be clean and tidy. Management reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
Emergency/ Evacuation
Please make yourself familiar with the property map and the individual room evacuation plan (example attached) that is found on the door of every room in case of any unforeseen emergency. In case of emergency, please call 000 or for after hours emergency for Canberra Park call 0439 289 387 (note this is for emergencies only, not late arrivals).
Laundry Facility
Laundry facilities are planned as part of the next stage and should be completed by mid 2020. Reception can advise the nearest coin operated facility for your use until these facilities are built. Management apologises for any inconvenience.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in accommodation or dining areas unless they are a medically certified companion.
Quiet Time
Please be respectful of the enjoyment of others within the property by restricting noise from television, music and social gatherings between the hours of 10pm to 7am.
Responsibilities Of Registered Guests
All guests should be registered on arrival. Registered guests are responsible for their visitor’s or groups behaviour. Any person that stays overnight must be registered prior to staying. Group leaders are responsible for the behaviour of any children under their charge.
Security
Thieves are opportunists so please keep valuables out of sight and be wary. Always ensure you lock your belongings away securely and make sure that vehicles and accommodation rooms are also kept locked at all times. Management cannot accept responsibility for theft of personal items.
Special Needs
There are special access rooms and facilities in each building. Please request these rooms if required.

Wildlife
All guests are invited to enjoy the opportunities for interaction with local wildlife. As cute as they may be, feeding them may be detrimental to their health. Please do not feed any animal or
bird. The site is also a habitat for several vulnerable and endangered native species: The Striped Legless Lizard (Delmar impar) and the Golden Sun Moth (Synemon plana). Find out more.
Bunk Beds
Australian Standards recommend that no child under the age of 10 should sleep on the top bunk.
Cooking
Cooking is not is allowed in the accommodation buildings. All meals are served and eaten in the Homestead.
Dump Point
This facility is located behind the Bettong and Quoll buildings and is conveniently provided for those travelling in caravans and motorhomes who require a dumping point. Please do not empty toilet waste anywhere else in the property. Please leave the area clean after use and advise reception if there is anything that needs attending to.
Internet/wifi
WIFI is available throughout the property. Occasionally you may experience difficulty in your room because of the fire rated doors (there are no black spots). Just open your door or move to the central hall outside your room and signal strength will be strong. As there are many younger persons frequenting the facility, there are restrictions placed on the websites that can be accessed. If you are of adult age and would like a password to bypass these restrictions, please ask reception.
Lost Property
If you have left something behind please email [email protected] or give us a call to check if your item has been found. Reception will be able to assist you in coordinating the return of your item.
Parking
Please park in your allotted position and not on the roadways. Visitors should park in the visitor parking area at the front of the property. No visitor cars should enter the property without consent from management. Coach parking available.
Privacy
Your privacy will be respected. No visitor will be given your contact details or whereabouts unless you specifically request your details to be issued.
Reception
Reception hours will vary depending on arrivals however generally will be open from 7am to 9pm daily.
Rubbish/waste
Rubbish is collected from the park at least three times per week. Please assist staff by having your rubbish securely wrapped and use recycle bins for glass and aluminium only. Paper and cardboard can be recycled in the waste collection area.
Sick Bay
There is a designated sick bay room for children that become unwell on their visit. Please be advised that these children must be supervised by an accompanying adult. Canberra Park does not provide a trained nurse/carer.
Speed
All roads in the park are shared between pedestrian and vehicles. Speed limits are walking pace only. When coaches are being reversed, please use a spotter to ensure safety for all concerned.
Water
Please help us to conserve our planets natural resources by conserving water wherever possible.
